The designs in Button Up your Top Down by Deb Gemmell of Cabin Fever combine the concept of top down knitting with working the project in one piece on circular needles so there is no sewing to finish the garment. To introduce you to the concept of top down cardigans for adults, Deb designed, sized and tested a set of basic top-down cardigans in both DK and Aran gauges. The three styles are comprised of a square-neck, a crew neck and a V-neck. There are variations on sleeve length and button placement. Then her design team came up with a whole slew of other designs so there are designs for the new knitter all the way to experienced knitters.
