Vest pattern from Dove Cottage. Vest is knitted in one piece up to the armholes, then fronts and back are worked separately. The lemming stitch is a variation of the woven stitch and linen stitch. Also uses a double cast-on for a decorative cast-on edge which echoes the woven texture of the pattern stitch. Instuctions given for two weight of yarn.
