The Harbor Collection of our handdyed yarns is a DK weight, 70% alpaca and 30% silk, capturing the colors of Chincoteague and Assateague Islands in fiber. The alpaca/silk blend is an incredibly soft yarn that begs to be touched. Each skein comes with its own tag explaining what part of the Islands it represents. Reed Grass, Dusk on Chincoteague, Storm at Sunset are lovely reminders of Chincoteague and Assateague Islands.
